Growing up with a strict father and a perfect older sister is defining for a girl like Parker Lewis. She does everything she can to push the confines of her father’s thin patience. Parker is a hobby photographer by day, and to escape all her responsibilities, a party connoisseur by night. Now, freshly eighteen and on the cusp of adulthood, she’s pushed too far. At the ranch, it’s all hard work and an annoyingly optimistic and disturbingly handsome ranch hand named Austin Morgan. Fortunately for Parker, Austin is unattainable to her. He might have enough patience to deal with her snark, but he’d never give her the time of day as anything more. She’s not at High Meadows Ranch to make friends or fall in love, and Parker wants nothing more than to make everyone’s lives around her as miserable as she is.
